Dear Parents,
As the week goes on, campers are starting to feel good and tired from the long days of fun and adventure. It showed this morning as campers were not up at five like some were the morning before. Much to the counselors' collective delight, campers stayed quiet and in their tents until morning meetings began at 7 a.m. We had another action-packed day planned for them. After breakfast, campers had two activity periods and then two more after lunch.
Teams followed this schedule today.
Red Team: Giant swing, ecology, lunch, wide game, river tracing
Purple Team: Pillo Polo, river tracing, lunch, wide game, ecology
Green Team: Archery, basketball, lunch, wide game, slackline
Light Blue Team: Rock climbing, slackline, lunch, wide game, basketball
Brown Team: Cooperative games, archery, lunch, wide game, rock climbing
Gray Team (Teens): Big river tracing, lunch, wide game
We are all on the way to dinner after getting cleaned up and ready. Tonight after journals, we will give the campers a little break with a nice movie on the big screen. It is a good chance for them to get some energy back and get ready for the last half of camp!
