Dear Parents,
Despite the continued rain, campers are in very high spirits. They've had a great time, and I think they are starting to understand that they get to see family again very soon. These factors typically combine to create a jolly, euphoric atmosphere at camp.
The children are really looking forward to the next two evening programs -- party night tonight, and our closing campfire (and skit night) tomorrow. We kept the campers dry today with under-cover activities. We had "Chinese playground games" and crafts in the morning. In the afternoon, teen campers went to our local middle school for activities.
All campers will have a chance to work on their performances this afternoon. It should be a fun closing campfire. We expect the rain will ease up later tonight and give us drier weather the rest of the weekend.
Goodbye from Camp Taiwan,
Mike
