So the weather is still holding on for us. It has been quite chilly here, but we are all staying dry. That is all we can ask for.
It has been a fun day here at Camp. The Waves (Blue Team, or 6th grade) started off with Crafts. They made a water bottle holder by weaving string together. The end result is a handle that they can use to carry their water bottle. After crafts, they moved on to the zip line. By the way, if you are wondering what some of our core activities like the zip line are, you can check out this description here.
The Sigmas of Ohio (Yellow Team or 7th grade) had river tracing this morning. They were supposed to go the big river, but because of the cold weather and the amount of water in the river, they went to the small river. Although this is the same river that the 6th graders went in yesterday, they did a longer, more challenging section. By all reports they had a lot of fun.
After lunch, the Waves had archery and the Sigmas of Ohio had zipline. For our final activity period, we played another round of Happy Happy Joy Joy. We had another game scheduled, but we decided to play another round of Happy Happy Joy Joy by popular demand.
The campers have had their dinner and are writing in their journals now. In a few minutes, we will have our evening program.
That is all from Camp Taiwan for tonight. Please be sure to check out the photos here.
