Dear Parents,
The weather today was surprisingly good. We had some early morning showers to keep campers in their tents resting to a reasonable time, and then the skies cleared a bit for us to allow everyone to comfortably get their whole schedule in. As we do every day, we started the day off with a big breakfast. The campers had two activity periods before lunch and two more after.
Teams followed this schedule today.
Red Team: Archery, giant swing, lunch, cooperative games, wide game
Orange Team: Rock climbing, Pillo Polo, lunch, giant swing, wide game
Brown Team: Crafts, ecology, lunch, Pillo Polo, wide game
Yellow Team: Giant swing, archery, lunch, river hike, wide game
Pink Team: Cooperative games, river hike, lunch, ecology, wide game
Light Blue Team: Pillo Polo, rock climbing, lunch, archery, wide game
Gray Team (Teens): Big river tracing, lunch, rest, wide game
Campers are getting cleaned up and will then meet in the Main Hall for dinner. After dinner tonight, it is movie night! We will watch a movie on the big screen and have popcorn (and maybe previews of coming attractions -- time permitting). We have movie night on the middle evening to give campers a chance to have a break and get their second wind before the last half of camp.
