Dear Parents,
The weather decided to stay nice for us another day. Campers really slept in today as the week of events is catching up with them. After counselors roused the campers awake, we headed to the dining room for a big breakfast. Today was a special day at camp as the color teams were split up a bit and campers started on their free choice activities. They got to mix with other teams as they chose the activities they wanted to do.
Camper could choose from zipline, archery, rock climbing, pond play, and balloon animal making. Campers who chose a second climbing or archery for a second time could try to pass a level one or level two test. This week was the first week we offered balloon animal making and the kids had a great time. One camper even gifted me a new pet dog (which, unfortunately, exploded a few minutes later.
Right now, teams are getting ready for the closing campfire performances. We will have a little talent show as teams battle to see who takes home the Oscar prize. It is hard to believe campers are leaving tomorrow! The week has gone by so fast.
