Dear Parents,

Most campers slept right in until seven this morning. It was a nice change from yesterday as counselors got to wake up campers today instead of the other way around. After morning meetings, campers prepared themselves for the day and headed to the dining room for a big breakfast to energize them. Today is the longest day of camp and many campers begin to get tired by the end of their half-way point. Tonight's evening program is a relaxing one and gives them a chance to recharge their batteries. Campers had two activities before lunch and two more after.

Teams followed this schedule.

Purple Team: Rock climbing, giant swing, lunch, ecology, wide game

Red Team: Archery, river tracing, lunch, sports (Pillo Polo), wide game

Yellow Team: River tracing, archery, lunch, crafts, wide game

Blue Team: Giant swing, rock climbing, lunch, cooperative games, wide game

Gray Team (teens) 1: Zip line, cooperative games, lunch, slackline, giant ladder

Gray Team (teens) 2: Cooperative games, zip line, lunch, giant ladder, slackline

Campers are having showers and will soon head back to the dining room for dinner and journals. Tonight's evening program is movie night. Campers will sit back and relax with a film on the big screen complete with popcorn. It is a nice easy night to let them catch their breath a bit before the final half of camp.

Goodbye from Camp Taiwan,

Mike

As for the Dropbox link below, not all folders will have pictures added every day. The first few days, most pictures are sorted by team, not activity. Some activities lead to more picture taking opportunities. If some teams have more pictures than other teams, we will try and even it out by the end of the week (but no promises!!). We do our best, but our main concern is your campers' safety and programming, pictures are a distant fourth or fifth (even though they may be number one to you). Please note, we will not reply to emails about photos. Enjoy.

Please find a Dropbox Link below. Photos will be uploaded to this folder every evening -- usually by 8 p.m.
