Last night’s game brought a lot of laughs and excitement. At first, the counselor in the center—with flashlight in hand—made quick work of catching campers. But as the game went on, the kids started to figure things out. With a little practice and some smart teamwork, they were soon darting past the light and pulling off sneaky moves right under the counselor’s nose.
We have been blessed with good weather today and we continued with our regular rotation activities. We will finish those up tomorrow, and then we will move on to something else, but more about that in tomorrow's blog. Today, the youth campers had the following activities.
Pink and Red team: STEM, Zipline, and Climbing
Orange Team: Zipline, Sports, and Cooperative Games
Green Team: Sports, Table Top Games, ad Giant Swing
Blue Team: Cooperative games, Climbing, and Table top Games.
The teen campers spent the morning at the beach, enjoying the sun, waves, and a bit of free time with friends. Some swam, others combed the sand for shells, and a few even built sandcastles. It was a great chance to relax after two very active days.
Tonight, we’ll wind things down with a special movie night. After a couple days full of activities, the campers need a chance to settle down and rest a little. Some of the little ones even fall asleep.
That is all for tonight. Check out the pictures.
