TYAS Middle School Camp, Day 1 - Sunshine and Big Adventures!

TYAS Middle School students arrived to blue skies and sunshine, and the warm weather stayed with us all day. It was a great first day to be outdoors, and campers threw themselves into a full schedule of high-ropes activities, archery, and nature adventures.
Today’s activities included:
Red Team: AM – River Tracing; PM – Zip Line, Orienteering
Brown Team: AM – Giant Swing; PM – River Tracing, Zip Line
Blue Team: AM – Archery; PM – Giant Swing, River Tracing

With the sun out and temperatures high, we encouraged hats and regular water breaks all day long, and campers did a great job of looking after themselves and each other.
