We woke up to a beautiful morning at camp. The campfire last night was a lot of fun, and of course, you can never go wrong with s'mores. The night was uneventful, (as we like it) and everyone seemed well rested and eager when they woke up this morning.

We continued with our activity rotations today. River tracing takes 2 periods, so campers who have river tracing will only have 3 periods today. The teams had the following activities today.

Blue Team: Sports, Giant Swing, Archery, Tie Dye

Red Team: Giant Swing, Tie Dye, Sports, Archery

Gray team: Tie Dye, Zip Line, River tracing

Orange Team: Zip line, Archery, River tracing

Green Team: River tracing, Zip line, Cooperative games

We go lucky with the weather today. The rain and lightning storms to the south never moved up into our area, so we were able to carry out all of our activities today. We had a very brief shower right before lunch, but that was all.

The campers have had their showers and are eating dinner now. This evening we will have our party night for our evening program. This is a well-loved event at Camp Taiwan. The counselors and teachers operate a number of booths like those you would find in an American carnival or a Taiwanese night market. The campers each have a number of tokens that they can spend to play the games. We end the night by turning down the lights and turning up the music for a big dance party. It is a lot of fun.

That is all for today. Check out the pictures at the Dropbox link below. Remember to download any pictures you wish to keep. Your campers will be heading back to you tomorrow, but we will still have pictures of tomorrow morning, so be sure to check back in tomorrow.
