It has been another beautiful day here at Camp Taiwan. The campers rolled out of bed and into the dining hall for breakfast at 7:30. (Actually, I think some of them had been for a long time by then, as they always wake up early their first morning at camp.) They had a big breakfast and headed out for a full day of activities.
They had two activity periods before lunch and two after with a bit of a rest period in the hottest part of the day. The teams had the following activities:
Red team: Cooperative games, Sports, Giant Swing, and Archery
Blue team: Sports, Cooperative games, Archery, and Giant Swing
Green team: Big-river tracing (two periods), Climbing, Tie dye
Yellow team: Big-river tracing (two periods), Tie dye, Climbing
Brown team: Climbing, Tie dye, Big-river tracing (two periods)
Gray team: Tie dye, Climbing, Big-river tracing (two periods)
The kids have taken their showers and had their dinner. They are now enjoying their "Party Night" festivities. This is where we have a series of carnival-style games that they can play. We usually end the night with a short dance party. It is always a blast.
Here is the link to the pictures for today.
