The campers arrived right on time around 9:45 this morning. We got them checked into their tents, fed them a quick snack, and sent them right off to their first activities.

There are two teams, Yellow Team and Blue Team. The teams don't really compete against each other, but rotate through the activities in 90-minute activity periods. In this case, the Yellow Team is the fourth grade students and the Blue Team is the fifth grade students.

We had just enough time for one activity period before lunch. The Yellow Team began with climbing on our 18 meter climbing wall, while the Blue Team started with archery. After lunch and a rest period, the Blue Team took their turn at archery, while the Yellow Team tried to see how many different living creatures they could find in Ecology. For the last activity period, all the students played a game of capture the flag all together.

The weather has been beautiful today. A little on the warm side, but sunny and clear. It has been one of those perfect autumn days in Taiwan.

The campers have all had their showers and are just finishing their dinner. After dinner, we will have our campfire program. We will sing some songs and play some games. Then we will roast marshmallows and make s'mores.

Below is a Dropbox link to some photos of the day. Please be sure to download any photos you wish to keep. The password to this blog will change when the next group arrives at camp.
