Dear Parents,

It was a very busy day at Camp Taiwan as the two teams had morning activities, and then, in the afternoon, the whole camp made the short trek to the local elementary school adjacent to camp. Campers benefited from the relaxing evening program last night and were fresh and ready to go this morning. After breakfast, we got started on activities.

Teams followed this schedule today.

Orange Team: Giant ladder, crafts, lunch, DaPing Elementary

Green Team: Ecology, archery 2, lunch, DaPing Elementary

The local elementary school was lots of fun. Campers worked with the local school students to make ZhongZi and XiangBao -- a great benefit to having Mandarin Camp the same week as Dragon Boat Festival. Tonight, campers get to eat their creations at dinner before journals. Tonight's evening program is Party Night! We will listen to music, play night market style carnival games and have a special cold treat to beat the heat.

Goodbye from Camp Taiwan
