By Thursday, camp has settled into a comfortable rhythm. The campers know their way around, understand their team routines, and have already discovered which activities they enjoy most.

The new friendships that began forming on Monday have also grown much stronger. Tent groups are filled with conversation and laughter, while teammates enthusiastically encourage one another during activities. It is always rewarding to see the campers become more confident and comfortable as the week continues.

Today’s morning and early-afternoon schedule included:

Blue Team: Archery, Frisbee Golf, and Tabletop Games

Red Team: Frisbee Golf, Tabletop Games, and Cooperative Games

Pink Team: Table-top Games, Cooperative Games, and Climbing

Green Team: Cooperative Games, Climbing, and Archery

Orange Team: Climbing, Archery, and Frisbee Golf

Gray Team: The teens spent the entire morning river tracing in the larger creek near camp. After lunch, they had some time to rest before joining the younger campers for our weekly water wide game.

The weather was quite nice today. It was warm, but not too hot, and there was a nice breeze to cool us off. It also clouded over a bit to soften the sun a bit. We had a couple of very brief showers, but they didn't stop the activities at all.

Our final afternoon activity was the Water Wide Game. This week we had a series of stations, each with a short game. The campers are divided into groups and they rotate from station to station. By the end, everyone was thoroughly soaked and there were smiles all around.

The campers are now finishing dinner, and after such an active day, they have certainly worked up an appetite.

Tonight, we will wrap up Thursday with Party Night. The counselors will transform the Dining Hall into a lively space filled with games, dancing, and group challenges. Some activities encourage campers to work together, while others give them the chance to compete. Either way, Party Night is always one of the most energetic and enjoyable evenings of the week.
