HIA Day 1

The buses arrived just a few minutes later than expected, which isn't bad coming from Hsinchu. We got all the campers into the dining hall for a very quick snack and orientation, and got right into our regular activities.

The campers are divided into teams of approximately 15, and given a color. The color teams then rotate through the activities in 90 minute periods. Today, we had 3 periods, and the teams had the following activities.

Group 1/Yellow Team: Giant Swing, Archery, River Tracing

Group 2/Green Team: Archery, River Tracing, Zipline

Group 3/Brown Team: River Tracing, Zipline, Sports

Group 4/Orange Team: Zipline, Sport Giant Swing

Group 5/Purple Team: Sport, Giant Swing, Archery

I don't suppose you will know which team your child is in, so I am afraid you will have to look through all the folders to find the pictures of them. The good news is, they will be in the same folder tomorrow.

The campers have all had their showers and are just finishing dinner now. After dinner, we will have our opening campfire for our evening program. We will play some games and roast marshmallows to make s'mores.
