Winter 2022 Session 1 Day 1
Dear Parents,
It was a wet start to our winter camps, but staff and campers were well-prepared. Buses left Taipei right on time and before long, campers were pulling into camp. The first order of business was to check into their rooms and unpack a bit. Counselors showed the children around the cozy lodge and helped them get situated. Soon we all gathered in the dining room to go over the rules and schedule of camp.
It was then time for activities. The teams began the first activity of their core rotation before lunch. After lunch, there were two more activity periods. Teams followed this schedule.
Blue Team: Check in/rules, cooperative games, lunch, crafts, wide game
Yellow Team: Check in/rules, archery, lunch, cooperative games, wide game
Gray Team: Check in/rules, cooperative games, lunch, archery, wide game
Campers are getting cleaned up after a fun day. After dinner in the lodge, we will have our opening campfire. We have games and songs planned to be followed, of course, by marshmallow roasting and S'mores!
