Summer 2021 Session 6 Day 3
Dear Parents,
Beautiful weather continued today as we moved to the halfway point of camp. Happy, hopefully well-rested, campers made their way to breakfast on time to get filled up for the big day ahead. Our teens ate quickly so they could get ready for their half-day big river tracing trek. Once the activities were set up, the campers were off. They had two activities before lunch and two more after. The teams followed this schedule.
Brown Team: Archery, Basketball, Lunch/Rest, Wide Game, Tent Time
Orange Team: Games, Zipline, Lunch/Rest, Wide Game, Tent Time
Red Team: Zipline, Pillo Polo, Lunch/Rest, Wide Game, Tent Time
Gray Team: Big River Tracing, Lunch/Rest, Tent Time, Giant Ladder
Tent Time is a chance for the teams to do an activity of their choosing with their counselors. Some teams played badminton, some did dodge ball, and some even painted the camp car. Tonight is a chance for the kids to have a bit of a rest. Our evening program is movie night. It is a good time for the kids to relax and recharge their batteries for the homestretch of camp.
