Summer 2021 Session 6 Day 2
Dear Parents,
Day 2 of camp brought perfect weather. We had a beautiful sunny morning that was not too hot, and then the afternoon rains missed us but left us with very moderate temperatures for our activities. Campers awoke around seven. After morning meetings, counselors began to get campers ready for their day. Once the campers were ready, we all headed to the dining room for a big breakfast to provide energy for the day. The teams had two activity periods before lunch and two more after. Campers followed this schedule.
Brown Team: Tie-dye, Rock Climbing, Lunch/Rest, Cooperative Games, Ecology
Orange Team: Ecology, River Tracing, Lunch/Rest, Archery, Cooperative Games
Red Team: Rock Climbing, Ecology, Lunch/Rest, River Tracing, Archery
Gray Team: Rock Climbing, Zipline, Lunch/Rest, Tie-Dye, Slackline
Campers are back in their living areas getting ready for dinner. After dinner and journals we will have our evening program. Tonight it is a night wide-game called Bigfoot. Campers should be quite tired by the time we send them to bed tonight.
