Summer 2021 Session 5 Day 2
Dear Parents,
Our first full day of camp got off to a nice start. The cooler weather overnight and into the morning led campers to sleep in a little later than they normally would -- much to the delight of our counselors. After morning meetings, the counselors went to wake up the campers and start to get them organized for their day of activities. Soon we all gathered in the dining room for breakfast. Campers had two activity periods before lunch and two more after. Teams followed this schedule.
Brown Team: Rock Climbing, Cooperative Games, Lunch/Rest, Ecology, Tie-Dye
Orange Team: Ecology, River Tracing, Lunch/Rest, Archery, Cooperative Games
Pink Team: River Tracing, Ecology, Lunch/Rest, Cooperative Games, Archery
Gray Team: Cooperative Games, Giant Ladder, Lunch/Rest, Zipline, Tie-Dye
Campers are about to head back to their living areas to clean up and get ready for dinner. If the rain stays away tonight, then, after dinner and journals, our evening program will be a night wide game. Then it is off to bed for a good night's sleep to be ready for Wednesday.
