Summer 2021 Session 4 Day 1
Dear Parents,
We were finally able to start Summer 2021. Excited campers and happy parents met at the buses this morning and we were all headed to camp right on time. More smiling counselors awaited greeted everyone at camp and began to get campers checked in. After unpacking, campers played name games to get to know their teams and counselors. The nurse checked in with everyone and then it was time for lunch.
After lunch, campers rested in their tents and played cards or read during the hottest part of the day. Then it was time to get started on their activity rotations. The teams followed this rotation.
Brown Team: Arrival/Check in, Lunch/Rest, Ecology, River Tracing
Orange Team: Arrival/Check in, Lunch/Rest, Archery, Rock Climbing
Pink Team: Arrival/Check in, Lunch/Rest, Rock Climbing, Archery
Gray Team: Arrival/Check in, Lunch/Rest, Rock Climbing, Tie-Dye
Campers are about to get cleaned up before dinner. After dinner, we will have our opening campfire. It has been a lovely day and should be a night full of stars as we sing songs, play games and roast marshmallows tonight.
