Summer 2020 Session 4 Day 1
Dear Parents,
We had a nice start to session four today. Campers met in Taipei, checked in with their bus counselors, and began the journey into the sub-tropical rain forest. Smiling counselors greeted the buses on arrival and soon campers and counselors were on their way to the tents to unpack. After unpacking, campers checked in with the camp nurse and then teams played warm up games to get to better know one another. By mid-day, we were gathered in the main hall for lunch. After lunch, teams had two activity periods in the afternoon. The weather stayed nice out at camp, but the thunder we could hear from Taipei convinced us to alter the schedule to be on the safe side.
Teams followed this schedule.
Purple Team: Check in, warm up, lunch, crafts, slackline
Yellow Team: Check in, warm up, lunch, board games, cooperative games
Red Team: Check in, warm up, lunch, cooperative games, board games
Blue Team: Check in, warm up, lunch, slackline, crafts
Gray Team 1 (teens): Check in, warm up, lunch, crafts, basketball
Gray Team 2 (teens): Check in, warm up, lunch, basketball, crafts
Campers are showering and having a quick rest before dinner. After dinner, children will have the chance to write in their journals about the first day of camp. Then it is time for our evening program. Tonight is the opening campfire. We will sing songs, play games and roast marshmallows. It should be a great night.

As for the Dropbox link below, not all folders will have pictures added every day. The first few days, most pictures are sorted by team, not activity. Some activities lead to more picture taking opportunities. If some teams have more pictures than other teams, we will try and even it out by the end of the week (but no promises!!). We do our best, but our main concern is your campers' safety and programming, pictures are a distant fourth or fifth (even though they may be number one to you). Please note, we will not reply to emails about photos. Enjoy.
