Morrison Academy Day 2
Dear Parents,
The rain mercifully stopped just before breakfast this morning allowing campers to dry off and enjoy a full day of camp activities unimpeded by precipitation. The morning started with the bell calling all campers to the main hall. We enjoyed a large breakfast of French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit and more. It was a meal packed with nutrition to drive campers through a busy day of camp. Teams today followed this schedule.
Blue Team (Blue Flame): River tracing, rock climbing, lunch, giant swing, tie dye
Green Team (Veggie Tales): River tracing, archery, lunch, tie dye, giant swing
Red Team (Reddit Ralph): Giant swing, tie dye, lunch, river tracing, team building
Yellow Team (Ray of Light): Tie dye, giant swing, lunch, river tracing, zip line
Campers are in the middle of their second afternoon activity. They will then quickly return to their tents to get their flashlights (and maybe a sweatshirt). They will gather in the main hall for another leadership seminar before dinner. After dinner and journals, we will have our final evening program -- party night. Campers will sing, dance and play night-market-style games to close out the day.
