HIS Day 1
Dear Parents,
Campers arrived right on time as a fleet of buses pulled into camp this morning. Smiling counselor greeted campers and teachers and started checking students into their living areas. Before long, we had all gathered in the main hall to go over camp rules and to get ready for a big lunch. After lunch, campers started on the their activity rotations. Teams had two activity periods after lunch and followed this schedule.
Red Team: Check in, lunch, cooperative games, rock climbing
Blue Team: Check in, lunch, cooperative games, archery
Green Team: Check in, lunch, archery, giant swing
Yellow Team: Check in, lunch, giant swing, sports
Orange Team: Check in, lunch, sports, crafts
Brown Team: Check in, lunch, crafts, rock climbing
Gray Team: Check in, lunch, rock climbing, cooperative games
Campers are in the middle of their afternoon rotation. When activities finish, campers will return to their living areas and begin to have their showers and a short rest before dinner. After dinner, kids will have a chance to write about their day in journals. Tonight's evening program is the opening campfire
